Drainage

The torn-up roads around the District are a temporary inconvenience to the long-term solution of improved drainage in the area.

The recently published 2022 drainage master plan provides a long-term vision, focusing on coordinated street replacement, practical engineering solutions, leveraging state and federal partnerships, and land development policies that reduce flooding.

The future Capital Improvement Plan updates should prioritize drainage improvements while coordinating them with other roadway improvements.
